Companion Care Job Description

As a companion caregiver with Premier, you’ll be providing daily living assistance to elderly and disabled residents in Bensalem, PA. These personal care tasks may include light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and transportation to run errands and attend medical appointments.

In addition, you’ll provide emotional support to your clients. This is often the key to helping them feel comfortable, safe, and happy, as many of them don’t engage in regular social interaction. Companionship activities include participating in your clients’ hobbies, sharing a friendly conversation with them, or transporting them to visit friends and family.

The companion caregiver is a non-skilled position, meaning that no previous experience in home care is required. Premier Companion Care Services will fully train you in elder care to help you meet the needs of your clients.

Caregiver Job Rate of Pay

The starting hourly rate for our companion caregivers is $13-$18 per hour. We also provide several growth and professional advancement opportunities for our team members.

While this position is non-skilled, there are a few qualifications that you must meet to be eligible for this job. You must be at least 19 years old and able to travel reliably to Bensalem, PA.
