Companion Caregiver Job Description
As a companion caregiver, you will assist elderly and disabled clients with daily living and personal care tasks, including dressing, grooming, using the restroom, light housekeeping, reliable transportation, and meal preparation. You will also provide safety care, including providing constant observation, fall prevention, and monitoring the health and well-being of your clients.
Additionally, as a home care assistant, you will provide much-needed company and emotional support to clients who may otherwise not have regular social interaction.
This is a non-skilled position, meaning no previous experience in homecare is required. We will train you in elder care to meet the needs of your clients to provide exceptional in-home companion care. The starting hourly rate for our companion caregivers is $13-$18 per hour. We will provide you with a uniform and several growth and professional advancement opportunities.
